CDA Prep Classes!
Liza's Garden is pleased to announce that CDA Preparatory classes are now available!
Classes will meet 10 sessions to address one module. The entire series will be given in 4 modules, taking approximately 15 months to complete.
Why so long? We are willing to accept EIP funding to help defray costs for those that apply and are qualify for EIP scholarships, and a program spanning 2 calendar years allows the most bang for your buck! Visit the ECETP website to find out if you are eligible and apply!
The current details:
Rochester classes are be offered by credentialed trainers Liza Mortimer and Jean McMillan. Most sessions are weekday evenings from 6-9 PM. Current locations are Generations Child Care in the South Wedge, Fallone's Fun Time on the western side of Monroe County, and at Jean's home in Wayland, on the northwestern edge of Steuben County. Participants do NOT need to work in these centers to attend.
Cost for these classes is $625 per module.
Registration is limited for each of these courses. To hold your place, a $125 deposit must be paid, which will count toward your total tuition for the class. In the event that EIP pays for the full course, the $125 will be refunded once the money is received. For customers paying out of pocket, the balance of the $625 course fee may be paid as $50 at or before each class session. Should you decide not to take the class the deposit is not refundable.
